1. Data controller

2. Contact form

Data: name, business name, type of business, email and/or phone number, description of your project, page language.

Purpose: to answer your request and offer you a demo or a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Requests are stored in our database and notified to us by email.

3. Advertising forms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)

If you fill in a contact form offered in a Youmo ad, the platform sends us the information you enter: name, phone number, email, business name and type of business.

Purpose: to get back to you for a demo or a quote. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The platform remains responsible for its own processing, described in its privacy policy.

4. Online assistant

The messages you write in the assistant are sent to the Google Gemini service to generate an answer. YOUMO SRL does not keep a history of your conversations.

Google may use these messages to improve its services, so please do not share personal or sensitive data there: for a personal exchange, use the contact form.

Your IP address is used temporarily, in memory, to limit the number of messages and prevent abuse. It is not stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Visit statistics

We measure website traffic without cookies and without third-party tools: page visited, language, referring site, campaign parameters, device type and approximate location derived from the IP address by our host (country, region, city). The IP address itself is not stored.

Purpose: to understand how the website is used and improve our content. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These statistics are not used for advertising and are not shared.

6. Client area

Data: email, password (stored in encrypted form), name, billing details, support requests and attachments, invoices.

Purposes: to provide our services, support and billing. Legal bases: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Only technical cookies keep you signed in to the client area, and your light or dark theme choice is remembered in your browser. These are strictly necessary for the website to work and do not require consent.

8. Recipients and processors

Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Google (online assistant), and advertising platforms for their own forms (TikTok, Meta).

We never sell or rent your data.

9. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

10. Retention periods

Contact requests and leads: 3 years after the last exchange, if no collaboration followed.

Clients: for the whole contractual relationship, then 7 years for invoices and accounting records, as required by Belgian law.

Visit statistics: 25 months at most.

Conversations with the assistant: not kept by YOUMO SRL.

11. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, request portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@youmo.be. We reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be, contact@apd-gba.be.
